About me
I’m Sergio González, VP of Engineering at Mensis Mentor, based in Nice, on the French Riviera. I’m responsible for the company’s entire technology area, end to end: from understanding what clients need to turning it into solutions running in production.
Mensis is a Digital Twins platform: it clones the experience and judgement of the best leaders so their teams can consult them 24/7 in Slack, Teams or WhatsApp.
I have worked with Mensis since mid-2022, first part-time alongside my role at Symphony and full-time since October 2026.
At Symphony, in Nice, I spent more than six years as Lead Software Development Engineer in Test. I designed test automation frameworks for a multi-cloud infrastructure, defined release and quality processes, and led QA teams in Vietnam, Brazil and India.
Earlier, in Costa Rica, I worked in test automation, QA and chatbot development, and took part in research projects at Universidad de Costa Rica and Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where I studied Computer Engineering.
I enjoy working with teams and helping people reach their full potential. I like to take the initiative, think outside the box to solve problems, and lead projects, including under tight deadlines.
